Gavrilă won her first major ITF title at the W60 event in Bodrum, Turkey, in the doubles draw partnering Isabelle Haverlag.
At the WTA 125 2023 Swedish Open she gained entry as an alternate, losing in the first round to Claire Liu. The following week Gavrilă lost in qualifying at the 2023 Iași Open but was advanced to the main-draw as a lucky loser, only to be defeated by wildcard Andreea Prisăcariu.
