Malayan flat-shelled turtle

The Malayan flat-shelled turtle is a species of turtle found in Southeast Asia.It is the only member of the monotypic genus ''Notochelys.''

Distribution

It is found in the mainland Southeast Asia and in parts of the Malay Archipelago.
Type locality: "in India Orientali", later restricted to "Sumatra; Singapore" by Gray.

Habitat

This species can be found in lowland forests and wetlands, including streams and small creeks.
