Norman FindlayNorman Findlay was an English professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper in the Football League for Coventry City.Personal lifeFindlay worked as a carpenter in the shipyards. He served as a corporal in McCrae's Battalion of the Royal Scots during the First World War. Findlay was not deployed to the Western Front and was released from the army in September 1916 to work in the Newcastle shipyards. He later moved to Isleworth and worked repairing barges on the Thames.
