Nicole Alexander


Nicole 'Deannae Alexander', also known as "Hoopz," is an American reality television star and actress; best known for participating and winning the hit VH1 celebreality television shows Flavor of Love and I Love Money. She is also known for being engaged to NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal.

Early life

Prior to Flavor of Love, Alexander worked as a Transportation Security Administration agent at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport.

Television career

In 2006, Alexander was the winner of the first season of the hit VH1 celebreality show, Flavor of Love, where she received the nickname "Hoopz". She was most notable for feuding with fellow contestant Tiffany "New York" Pollard.
In 2008, Alexander participated in hit VH1 reality spin-off show, I Love Money season 1. Hoopz would defeat I Love New York season 1 contestant, Joshua "Whiteboy" Gallander in the final challenge to win the $250,000 cash prize. During the show she was involved in a romantic story with Ahmad "Real" Givens and would feud with Frank "The Entertainer" Maresca. In a 2020 interview with Zack Peter, Alexander claimed that the producers of I Love Money told her they planned for Joshua "Whiteboy" Gallander to win the show.
In 2010, Alexander starred as Kayla in the film; Ghetto Stories: The Movie. In 2013, she appeared in an episode of Celebrity Motor Homes alongside her then partner Shaquille O'Neal. In 2015, Alexander starred in her own reality television show on the Oxygen network titled, It Takes a Sister. The show followed her and her families life. The show only aired for one season.

Personal life

In 2006, during the Flavor of Love reunion she revealed that her and Flavor Flav had broken up. She dated rapper T.I. between 2006–2010. She was also formerly engaged to retired basketball player Shaquille O'Neal, the couple split in 2013.
She's currently dating American footballer Lucky Whitehead. She is a mother to 2 children.
