Neaua


Neaua is a commune in Mureș County, Transylvania, Romania composed of five villages: Ghinești, Neaua, Rigmani, Sânsimion, and Vădaș.

Demographics

The commune has an absolute Székely Hungarian majority. According to the 2011 [Romanian census|2011 census], it had a population of 1,369, of which 89.4% were Hungarians and 7.5% Romani [people in Romania|Roma]. At the 2021 census, Neaua had a population of 1,231, of which 78.72% were Hungarians and 16.9% Roma.
