Nanbu County
Nanbu County is a county of Sichuan Province, China. It is under the administration of Nanchong city.
History
In 1960, local government officials tasked with cleaning up Qing-dynasty archives found 4000 Qing-era official documents in a watchtower of the county's public security bureau, covering political, economic, military, cultural, educational, judicial, religious, and diplomatic records of the years 1656 to 1911. It is one of the largest surviving collections of Qing-era judicial material. The archives are nowadays stored by the Nanchong Municipal Bureau of Archives.Administrative divisions
