NGC 3258
NGC 3258 is an elliptical galaxy in the constellation Antlia. It is a member of the Antlia Cluster, which lies about away. It was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel on 2 May 1834.
One supernova has been observed in NGC 3258: SN2010hx was discovered by Berto Monard on 16 September 2010.
