N'Diaga Samb

N'Diaga Samb was a Senegalese draughts player based in the Netherlands. He took first place at the [List of Draughts List of Draughts African Championship winners|African Championship winners|African Championship] in 2016, second place at the African Championship in 1992, 2006, 2014, 2018 and finished third in 2003, 2009 and 2010. He won several international tournaments and was awarded the titles of International Master in 1992 and International Grandmaster in 2000.
On February 19, 2025, Samb died while being present at the closing ceremony at a checkers tournament in the Senegalese capital Dakar.
