Multivariate Regression Model to Predict Failure of Pipelines

Multivariate Regression Model to Predict Failure of Pipelines is a scholarly work, published in 2018 in ''International Journal of Engineering and Technology''. The main subjects of the publication include ground-penetrating radar, Bayesian multivariate linear regression, econometrics, water distribution system, regression analysis, statistics, Factor regression model, Multivariate adaptive regression splines, seismic analysis, and multivariate statistics. The objective of this study is two-fold.The first is to define the significant risk factors pertinent to the corrosion and excavation failures in the natural gas pipeline industry and subsequently check for reliability of the data in hand. The second is to propose a statistical model to predict the odds of survival of the pipeline for the next ten years. The data for the proposed statistical model was obtained from the U.S.
