Motutapu (Cook Islands)

Motutapu is a small island east of Rarotonga, within the Cook Islands archipelago. It is situated within the Ngatanglia Harbour about off the main island.

Etymology

The name "Motutapu" means "Sacred island" in several Polynesian languages.
