Morro d'Alba


Morro d'Alba is a hilly Italian comune in the province of Ancona, located about northwest of Jesi. It is known for giving its name to the Denominazione di [Origine Controllata|DOC] red wine Lacrima di Morro d'Alba.
Bordered by Belvedere Ostrense, Monte [San Vito], San Marcello, and Senigallia, this medieval village is officially recognized as one of I [Borghi più belli d'Italia]. It sits nestled in the Marche countryside, in an area historically renowned for the abundant natural springs.
