Monmouth is a census-designated place in Fresno County, California. It is located west of Selma, at an elevation of 276 feet. At the 2020 census, Monmouth had a population of 120.
Officials of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad named the place after Monmouth, Illinois.
A post office operated at Monmouth from 1908 to 1919.
