Mohammad Habib UllahMohammad Habib Ullah is a two-star general of the Bangladesh Army. He was the chairman of Sena Kalyan Sangstha and Sena Kalyan Insurance. He currently works in the Foreign Ministry of the Government of Bangladesh.Education and trainingHabib completed high school from Rajshahi Cadet College and enlisted to Bangladesh Military Academy in 1989. He was commissioned on December 1991 in 25th BMA long course in armoured corps and his parent unit is 6th Bengal cavalry regiment. Habib obtained his bachelor's degree from Chittagong University and holds two master's degrees in defence studies from National University and Master of Philosophy on development and strategic studies from Bangladesh University of Professionals.Military careerHabib served in Rajshahi Cadet College as principal. He was later designated as director of Armoured Corps directorate in Army Headquarters as brigadier general. Habib commanded one armoured regiment, the station headquarters, Bogra and was also designated as commandant of Armoured Corps Centre & School in Bogra Cantonment. In October 2023, Habib was ameliorated to major general and appointed as the chairman of Sena Kalyan Sangstha succeeding major general Iftekhar Anis. In 2025, Habib was transferred to the foreign ministry of Bangladesh.
