Mitsuo Higashinaka

Mitsuo Higashinaka was a Japanese lawyer and politician from the Japanese Communist Party, he served for a total of 10 terms in the House of Representatives from 1969 to 2000, representing Osaka's 2nd District.
In 2001, he resumed his legal career at the Kansai Joint Law Office, and in 2005, he served as head of the defense team in the Kurabo Human Rights Trial, and in 2009, he served as head of the defense team in the State Compensation Lawsuit for Special Benefits for the Wives of War Dead.
