Miss Brasil Beleza Internacional
Miss Brasil Beleza Internacional is a national beauty pageant held annually since 2017 by businesspeople Boanerges Gaeta Júnior and Susana Cardoso, based in Rio de Janeiro. The goal of the competition is to select the best Brazilian representative for the title of Miss International, held annually in Japan. Brazil has participated in the contest since 1960 and has been absent on two occasions: in 1970 and 1998. The country has only won one victory since its entry into the competition, in 1968 with Maria da Glória Carvalho.
