Michael Buckx
Johannes Michael Buckx was a Dutch Catholic priest and bishop, who was the first Roman Catholic bishop in Finland since the reformation.
Buckx was ordained a priest in 1906. He worked in the Roman Catholic congregation of Vyborg from 1909 to 1911. In 1923, he was appointed the apostolic vicar of Finland and the titular bishop of Doliche. He was succeeded as the apostolic vicar of Finland by Gulielmus Cobben in 1933.
