Mas de las Matas

Mas de las Matas is a municipality in the province of Teruel, Aragon, Spain. According to the 2018 census, the municipality has a population of 1,299 inhabitants.
Mas de las Matas is located to the west of Aguaviva in picturesque surroundings.

History

During the Spanish [Civil War], the town participated in the Spanish [Revolution of 1936|Spanish revolution] and was collectivised by the Confederación [Nacional del Trabajo|CNT] and UGT.
