Marianna Lymperta
Marianna Lymperta is an Olympic and national-record holding swimmer from Greece. She has won the bronze medal at the 2011 World Aquatics Championships, at the [Open water swimming at the Greece at the 2011 World Aquatics Championships|2011 World Aquatics Championships – Women's 10 km|Open Water Swimming Women's 10 km event]. She has also won the bronze medal at the 2010 European Aquatics Championships, at the Open Water Swimming Women's 5 km event.
She has swum for Greece at the:

- World Championships: 2003, 2009, 2011, 2013
- European Championships: 2010
- Mediterranean Games: 2001, 2005, 2013

At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she competed in the Women's marathon 10 kilometre, finishing in last place.
She was named the Greek Female Athlete of the Year for 2011.
