Maocyon
Maocyon is an extinct genus of hyaenodonts from extinct paraphyletic subfamily Hyainailourinae within paraphyletic family Hyainailouridae, that lived during the late Eocene in China. It is a monotypic genus that contains the species M. peregrinus.
