Mansoor Delane

Mansoor Delane is an American college football cornerback for the LSU Tigers. He previously played for the Virginia Tech Hokies.

Early life

Delane attended Archbishop Spalding High School. He was rated as a three-star recruit and committed to play college football for the Virginia Tech Hokies over offers from schools such as Boston College, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Louisville, and Vanderbilt.

In week 10 of the 2022 season, Delane recorded his first career interception in a loss versus Duke. He finished the season with 38 tackles with three and a half being for a loss, eight pass deflections, an interception, and two forced fumbles in eight games, earning FWAA freshman All-American honors. In 2023, Delane notched 54 tackles with two and a half going for a loss, a pass deflection, an interception, and a fumble recovery.
On December 11, 2024, Delane announced that he would enter the NCAA [transfer portal]. Five days later, he announced his transfer to LSU.

Delane is the older brother of four-star safety Faheem Delane who signed with Ohio State.
