Mankovice
Mankovice is a municipality and village in Nový [Jičín District] in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 500 inhabitants.
History
The first written mention of Mankovice is from 1374.During World [War II], the German occupiers operated the E119 Forced labour under [German rule during World War II|forced labour] subcamp of the Stalag VIII-B/344 German prisoner-of-war [camps in World War II|prisoner-of-war camp] at a local sawmill.
