Mags Darcy
Mags D’Arcy is a camogie player who is a double All Star winner, holder of four All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship's 2007, 2010, 2011, 2012 & three National League titles in 2009, 2010 & 2011. D’Arcy has been involved as a part of the Wexford Senior Camogie Team since 2003 and is regarded as one of the top players in the game of Camogie. Throughout D’Arcy's spell in college, D'Arcy helped the Camogie team to bridge a nineteen-year gap to capture back the Ashbourne Cup for two years on the trot in 2007 and in 2008. D’Arcy's influential on-field presence and leadership was rewarded with an Ashbourne All Star award. The Camogie player has also had success within the Poc Fada Camogie Championships, capturing the Leinster title for Camogie on the double in 2008 and in 2009, however due to national championship fixture commitments with Wexford, was not in the position to participate at National level in either 2008 and It was the same story again in 2009. D'Arcy, most recently in 2014, captained Leinster to a provincial title in the Senior Gael Linn Cup. It was the first-ever time for D’Arcy to captain Leinster to a provincial title in the Senior Gael Linn Cup. D’Arcy's captaincy came on the back of winning six Leinster Senior Championship's as a part of the Wexford Senior Camogie Team. In 2017, D’Arcy was there to help St Martin's to capture a first-ever county Camogie senior title when they defeated Rathnure in the county Camogie senior final to win the senior title.
