Macrochorobates is an extinct genus of euphractine cingulate that lived in South America during the Miocene and Pliocene epochs.

Macrochorobates scalabrinii is interpreted to have had a carnivorous diet intermediate between that of the specialist species|specialist] carnivore Macroeuphractus and the generalist Euphractus.
