MIT Art, Design and Technology University


The MIT Art, Design and Technology University is an autonomous private university in Loni Kalbhor, Pune, Maharashtra, India. It is part of the MIT Group of Institutions.It is a UGC recognised multidisciplinary University and has been bestowed with the 'Best Campus Award' by ASSOCHAM.

History

The MIT Group of Institutions established a campus in Loni Kalbhor in 2004. The campus was incorporated as a distinct university, MIT-ADT, in June 2016, under the provisions of the MIT Art, Design and Technology University Act, 2015.
In 2016, the MIT Institute of Design was incorporated into the MIT University, Pune, followed by the School of Engineering in 2017.

Academics

The institute offers Graduate and Postgraduate level courses, namely Graduate Diploma Program Postgraduate Diploma Program in various concentrations.

Schools

The campus is 120 acres large, and 3,000 students reside in the campus' residencies.
The academic wing houses classrooms and studio space, multiple computer labs, a model shop with traditional tools as well as rapid prototyping technologies, painting facilities.
The university houses sporting facilities, a fully staffed hospital, a convention center and grounds.
