Loghan Paylor
Loghan Paylor is a Canadian writer, whose debut novel The Cure for Drowning was longlisted for the 2024 Giller Prize.
Born and raised in Ontario, Paylor has a master's degree in creative writing from the University of British Columbia, and is currently based in Abbotsford, British Columbia. They have also published short fiction and essays in literary magazines.
The Cure for Drowning, a World War II-era historical fiction centred on a trans man who enters the Canadian Air Force">Canada">Canadian Air Force, was published in January 2024 by Penguin [Random House|Penguin Random House Canada].
