List of countries by gross fixed capital formation

This is the list of countries by gross fixed capital formation , formerly known as gross fixed investment. The list includes sovereign states and self-governing dependent territories based upon the ISO standard ISO 3166-1.
According to World Bank, gross fixed capital formation includes land improvements ; plant, machinery, and equipment purchases; and the construction of roads, railways, and the like, including schools, offices, hospitals, private residential dwellings, and commercial and industrial buildings. According to the 1993 SNA, net acquisitions of valuables are also considered capital formation.
