Les oiseaux du bonheur

Les oiseaux du bonheur is the second album by Canadian singer Celine Dion released in France. It was issued in 1984, through Pathé-Marconi. Les oiseaux du bonheur is a compilation of songs taken from Dion's previous albums released in Canada, mainly from Mélanie. It also includes three new tracks: "Paul et Virginie", "Les oiseaux du bonheur", and "Hymne à l'amitié".

Background and conception

Les oiseaux du bonheur was released in France in 1984 as Dion's second album there, after Du soleil au cœur. It is a compilation of songs from Dion's previous albums released in Canada. Most tracks were taken from Mélanie. The album also includes three new songs: the title track, "Paul et Virginie", and "Hymne à l'amitié".
