Lena Góra


Lena Góra is a Polish actress, screenwriter, and producer.

Early life

Góra was born in Gdańsk to a family of artists. Her father, Sławomir Góra, was a painter and her mother, Ela Wyczyńska, was a singer. She did not attend public school until the age of nine, instead attending a private art school run by her father and his artist friends. At the age of 14, she began attending acting workshops at the.
She left Poland and moved to London at the age of 16. There, she worked at a bar and completed a BTEC Extended Diploma in performing arts. At the age of 19, she moved to New York City to attend the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She also began modeling to earn money. She later moved to Los Angeles.

Career

In 2022, Góra co-wrote, produced, and starred in the film Roving Woman, which was executive produced by Wim Wenders. Later that year, she signed with LBI Entertainment. In 2023, she co-wrote and starred in the film Imago, based on the life of her mother. For her role in the film, she won the award for Best Actress at the Polish Film Festival. She was also nominated for the Polish Film Award for Best Actress.

Góra splits her time between the United States and Poland.
