Learning Communities
Learning Communities is a scholarly work, published in 2004 in ''Science and Technology Libraries''. The main subjects of the publication include educational technology, information literacy, collaborative learning, work, sociology, knowledge management, Library 2.0, learning community, open educational resource, and library science. An investigative study was undertaken at the Illinois Institute of Technology to identify the new learning communities, examine emerging patterns of collaborative work within these communities, quantify these communities' use of information resources, and identify methods of library involvement.
