The laryngeal inlet is the opening that connects the pharynx and the larynx.
Borders
Its borders are formed by:- the free curved edge of the epiglottis, anteriorly
- the arytenoid cartilages, the corniculate cartilages, and the interarytenoid fold, posteriorly
- the aryepiglottic fold, laterally
