Lamprospilus


Lamprospilus is a Neotropical genus of butterfly in the family Lycaenidae. They occur in wet and dry lowland and montane forests from Mexico to central Argentina.
Lamprospilus have sexually dimorphic wing patterns, to the extent that males and females have sometimes been first described as different species.
