Lakmali Hemachandra

Lakmali Kanchana Hemachandra is a Sri Lankan politician and a member of the National People's Power. She was appointed as a Member of Parliament for National List in the 2024 Sri Lankan parliamentary election as a member of the National People's Power. She is a lawyer by profession and is an executive member of NPP Lawyers association in Colombo District. She also worked as the Deputy Chairwoman of the Director Board of Dabindu Collective, a non-profit organization located in the Free Trade Zone of Katunayake, that is concerned about the protection and promotion of women worker rights.
