Laidley Hall

Laidley Hall was a former Marshall University residence hall, located next to the Cam [Henderson Center] in Huntington, [West Virginia].

History

Laidley Hall, named after the founder of Marshall University John Laidley, was the first dormitory on campus, opening in 1937. The building was built as a three-story coed dormitory, which was also later used as classrooms and a tutoring center.
