LIFE AFTER PEACE Perception of the current situation by the Chechen population is a scholarly work, published in 2009 in ''The Journal of Political Theory Political Philosophy and Sociology of Politics Politeia''. The article presents the results of the study “Transformation of public consciousness of the population of the Chechen Republic (1991–2008)” undertaken in summer-fall 2008 and containing a representative survey, a series of focus-group discussions and 25 lengthy deep biographical interviews.
