Koothattukulam
Koothattukulam is a municipality of Kerala state, India in the Ernakulam district. It is south of the district headquarters in Thrikkakara and about north of the state capital Thiruvananthapuram. As per the 2011 Indian census, Koothattukulam has a population of 17,253 people, and a population density of. It is at the junction of Ernakulam, Kottayam, and Idukki districts, in the foothills of the Western Ghats and is part of the Keezhmalanad region.
The town comprises five main localities: Koothattukulam, Vadakara, Paittakulam, Kizhakombu and Edayar.
