Konvansyon Inite Demokratik
Konvansyon Inite Demokratik is a populist political party in Haiti which originated in 1986 as a political pressure group, and which was formally made into a political party in 1995. The party has also been referred to as the Komite Inite Demokratik and the Konfederasyon Inite Demokratik. After the 2015-16 elections, KID emerged with 2 seats in the Senate and 7 in the Chamber of Deputies.
One of the party's founding members, Evans Paul, served as Prime Minister under President Michel Martelly and interim president Jocelerme Privert between January 16, 2015 and February 26, 2016.
In 2015, KID was accused by the Conseil Électoral Provisoire, Haiti's main election body, of election-day disruptions in the Artibonite department.
