Konoka Matsuda
Konoka Matsuda is a Japanese singer, television presenter, actress, and radio personality. She is a member of the girl group Hinatazaka46.
Early life
Matsuda trained in classical ballet from the age of three until she joined Hiragana Keyakizaka46. She was also a member of the taiko club and started playing the guitar in a band in high school.Career
On August 13, 2017, Matsuda joined Hiragana Keyakizaka46, now Hinatazaka46, as a second generation member. Before joining the group, she was a fan who attended Nogizaka46 and Keyakizaka46 meet-and-greet events. She is one half of the guitar duo subgroup Hana-chans with Suzuka Tomita, and have released their first song as part of Hinatazaka46's third single.From 2019 to 2020, Matsuda served as co-host for several subjects on NHK Educational TV's High School Course program. She was a co-host for the TBS Television morning show Love It! from August to September 2021. She was also appointed as support ambassador for DAZN's AFC Asian Cup qualifications "Road to Qatar" campaign which ran from August 2021 to March 2022, along with fellow Hinatazaka46 members Mei Higashimura and Yūka Kageyama. In October 2021, Matsuda started her first self-titled solo radio program, Konoka Matsuda's Hinatazaka High School Broadcast Club, on Nippon Broadcasting System, which regular listeners are called "Little Yahosu". In October 2022, she was appointed as regular co-host for The Time, another TBS morning show. In October 2023, following the cancellation of Hinatazaka High School Broadcast Club, she started hosting the radio program All Night Nippon 0 on the same station, and transitioned shortly after to All Night Nippon X, which aimed to synergize radio with new media technologies, in April 2024.
Matsuda's first photobook, titled and photographed mainly in Vancouver, was released by Kodansha on May 28, 2024. It sold 51 thousand copies in its first week and placed first on the Oricon Weekly Book Ranking that week; at the end of the year, it placed seventh and second on the annual photobook and annual solo female photobook rankings, respectively. On August 10, her first self-titled television show, 2=放送作家松田好花, about her efforts to create an original television program, was aired on TV Tokyo, with a second installment aired in August 2025.
In August 2025, Oricon announced that Matsuda placed eighth on its 2025 Favorite Radio Personality Ranking.
On December 1, Matsuda announced on her official blog that she would leave Hinatazaka46 in February 2026. On January 16, 2026, she announced on All Night Nippon X that the group's upcoming 16th single, "Cliffhanger", would include a song written by her, titled "Namidame no Taiyō" and performed by all members; this was the first time in the Sakamichi Series that a member wrote the lyrics for a group's music release, as producer Yasushi Akimoto had been credited as sole lyricist for all their songs, excluding bonus content. Her graduation ceremony took place on January 29, 2026, at the Toyota Arena Tokyo.
Personal life
Matsuda has an older sister. She grows a Monstera named "Yahosutera" and a Sansevieria trifasciata named "Sanpa Starfish". She holds a Kanji Kentei level 2 certification.Discography
