Kevin Bentley
Kevin Kinte Bentley is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker in the National Football League. He was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the fourth round of the 2002 NFL draft. He played college football for the Northwestern Wildcats. Bentley went to high school at Montclair Prep in Van Nuys where he spent three years under the coaching of George Ginnanni and defensive coordinator John Greaves.
Bentley was also a member of the Seattle Seahawks, Houston Texans, San Diego Chargers, Jacksonville Jaguars and Indianapolis Colts.
College career
In 2000 Bentley and Northwestern won a share for the Big Ten champion with 2000 [Michigan Wolverines football team|Michigan] and 2000 [Purdue Boilermakers football team|Purdue]. Bentley helped lead Northwestern to their first bowl game since the 1997 [Florida Citrus Bowl]. They went on to face off against 2000 [Nebraska Cornhuskers football team|Nebraska] in the 2000 Alamo Bowl, though they ended up losing by a score of 66–17.College statistics

Bentley was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the fourth round, with the 101st overall pick, of the 2002 NFL draft. He officially signed with the team on July 16, 2002. He became a free agent after the 2004 season.Seattle Seahawks
Bentley signed a contract with Seattle Seahawks in the 2005 season. He helped lead the Seahawks to the NFC Championship Game and beat the Carolina Panthers season|Carolina Panthers] by a score of 3414.
