Ketocaine is an amino ether local anesthetic of the butyrophenone family used topically for pain relief. It is marketed in Italy.

Synthesis

Williamson ether synthesis between 2'-hydroxybutyrophenone and diisopropylaminoethyl chloride gives ketocaine.
