Karangtengah


Karangtengah is a town and an administrative district of Tangerang City, in Banten Province of Indonesia, on the island of Java. The district covers an area of 10.47 km2, and had a population of 118,473 at the 2010 Census and 117,721 at the 2020 Census; the official estimate as at mid 2023 was 117,440.
Karangtengah announced the future MRT Jakarta Phase 3, connecting Cikarang to Balaraja. MRT Jakarta Phase 3 will be built in August 2024.

Toll Road Access

The Jakarta–Merak Toll Road crosses this district, connecting Jakarta to the Port of Merak in the northwest of Banten Province.
