Kakabai is an Austronesian language spoken in Milne Bay Province of Papua New Guinea.
Phonology
- The labialized consonants /pʷ bʷ mʷ kʷ gʷ/ only appear before /a/.
- /l/ varies dialectally between .
- /ɣ/ is realized as before front vowels.
- /m/ can appear syllabically.
