Bowden signed for Wakefield Trinity part way through the 2022 season on a two-year deal. Bowden has stated he wants to help the famous little Yorkshire club to climb the Betfred Super League and become a fierce competitive side.Bowden played 16 matches for Wakefield Trinity in the Super League XXVIII season as the club finished bottom of the table and were relegated to the RFL Championship which ended their 24-year stay in the top flight.
