Josephine Peary Island

Josephine Peary Island, also known as the Josephine Peary Ø, is an island in the Arctic located in the Lincoln Sea and falls under Northeast Greenland National Park. It is named after Josephine Diebitsch Peary, the wife of Robert Peary. The island has an area of about 17 square kilometers and a coastline of around 37 kilometers. The landscape features hills with rounded tops, with an average height of 218 meters above sea level. The highest point on the island is about 455 meters above sea level.
