Jonathan Dienst
Jonathan Dienst is an American journalist, currently WNBC's chief investigative reporter and an NBC News' chief justice contributor.
Early life and education
Born in Teaneck, New Jersey, Dienst attended Teaneck High School, where he represented the school on a public panel about student drug testing. He graduated from Colgate University in New York State with a bachelor's degree, and from Columbia University with a master's degree in journalism.Career
Dienst began his reporting career at WSAV in 1991 and then moved to NY1 News in 1992. He left in 1997 and joined WPIX as an investigative reporter and remained there until 2001.He joined WNBC in 2001 as a chief investigative reporter and contributing correspondent to NBC News.
