Jetětice
Jetětice is a municipality and village in Písek District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 300 inhabitants.

Etymology
The original name of the village was probably Dětětice. The name was derived from the personal name Dětěta, meaning "the village of Dětěta's people".Geography
Jetětice is located about northeast of Písek and north of České Budějovice. It lies in the Tábor Uplands. The highest point is at above sea level. The municipality is situated on the shore of the Orlík Reservoir, built on the Vltava River.History

Jetětice is poor in monuments. The main landmark of the village is the Chapel of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary.The only protected cultural monument is the Červená Railway Bridge, located on the municipal border. It was built over the Orlík Reservoir in 1886–1889. It is a valuable technical monument.
