Jawahar Science College


Jawahar Science College is a co-educational institution managed by the Jawahar Education Society. The college is affiliated with Annamalai University.

History

Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru emphasized the importance of developing science and technology. In his honor, the college was named Jawahar Science College, and several job-oriented courses were introduced. The college began with 120 students and was inaugurated by Minister P. Chidambaram on October 18, 1987.

Campus

The college functions in a building in a 40 acres site near NPTI in Block-14, Neyveli, Tamil Nadu, India.
