Janis Antonovics
Janis Antonovics FRS is an American biologist, and Lewis and Clark Professor of Biology, at University of Virginia.
Life
He was educated at Gravesend Grammar School, graduating from Clare College, Cambridge with a B.A. in 1963, and from University of Wales with a Ph.D. in 1966.He lectured at Institute for Advanced Study, Berlin.
Honors
He is a 1991 Guggenheim Fellow.He was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1988. He was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 1992. He won the 1999 Sewall Wright Award.
