Israeli order of precedence


The Israeli Ceremonial Protocol does not define an order of precedence. It does define, however, the group of officials that are to attend ceremonial events. This group consists of:
  1. The President
  2. The Prime Minister
  3. The Alternate Prime Minister
  4. The Speaker of the Knesset
  5. The President of the Supreme Court
  6. The Chief Rabbis
  7. Former Presidents
  8. Ministers of the Government
  9. The Leader of the Opposition, Chair of the Coalition
  10. Justices of the Supreme Court of Israel, President of the National Labor Court
  11. The Attorney General of Israel
  12. The State Comptroller
  13. The Governor of the Bank of Israel
  14. Chairman of the Executive of the World Zionist Organization
  15. Chairman of the Jewish Agency for Israel
  16. The Dean of the Diplomatic corps
  17. The Chief of Staff of the Israeli Defense Forces
  18. The Police Commissioner
  19. Members of the Knesset
