Isaac Bogert House


Isaac Bogert House, also known as Melody Farms, is a historic Dutch Colonial farmhouse located at 640 Campgaw Road in Mahwah, Bergen County, New Jersey.

History

1730: The original section of the house was built by Isaac Bogert, a member of a prominent Dutch family that settled in the area in the 17th century. The Bogert family were early settlers in the Mahwah area and owned extensive farmland.19th century: The house was expanded with several additions, including a larger kitchen wing and a second floor.20th century: The house was used as a dairy farm known as Melody Farms.2006: The house was purchased by the Township of Mahwah.
