It was described in 1993 by Australian arachnologist Mark Harvey.Distribution and habitatThe species occurs in the Kimberley region of North West Australia. The type locality is closed forest 25.3 km west-south-west of Mount Blythe on the Charnley River.BehaviourThe pseudoscorpions are terrestrial predators which inhabit plant litter.
